You must be a Global Admin and have the Product Key Reader or VL Administrator role assigned to your Microsoft Entra ID account. For more information, see Understand volume licensing rolesand About admin roles.
If there are multiple billing accounts, you must select the account that the product was purchased on. For more information, see Select a default billing account.
Notes
CSP purchases are activated with a multiple activation key (MAK). Key management service (KMS) keys aren't allowed, even upon request.
Certain product purchases don't require a software download or product keys. These products are sold as licenses that give the user the right to access the services the product provides.
Some products have specific installation instructions (For example, Extended Security Updates (ESUs)).
How to find Software licenses inside of your Microsoft 365 Admin Center
From the Dashboard navigation menu, go to Billing
> Your products. Find and select the software.
Select the Product version, Language, CPU
& file type. This will enable the download of the ISO and the option to
obtain the Product Key. Here are some examples of the Software in the Microsoft Admin Center:
What if I cannot find the Software I have purchased in the Microsoft Admin Center?
If the software is not shown, it could be you are under the incorrect Billing account. You can change this by selecting Change billing account as shown below.
Ensure that you have the Microsoft Customer
Agreement selected.
