How to Assign the Teams Reader Role?
Please follow the instructions below to assign the Teams Reader role to the Teams PowerPack Enterprise Application.
Sign in to the Azure portal
Open the Roles and Administrators section
- In Azure Entra, go to Roles and admins.

- Search for Teams Reader in the list of available roles.
Assign the role to the Enterprise Application
- Inside the Teams Reader role page, click Add assignments.

- In the search box, type the name of the Enterprise Application: SS-PRD-AppRegistration
- Select it and click Select.
- Then click on next.

- Write a justification and click on Assign
- We recommend writing the justification as follows: "Approved to grant SS-PRD-AppRegistration read-only access to Teams Management configuration required for accurate call visibility and analytics in our environment. No write/admin privileges are included."
Confirm the assignment
- You should now see your Enterprise Application listed as an active assignment for the Teams Reader role.
